This Do In Remembrance Of Me
Bible Class on 1 Cor. 11:24
“This Do In Remembrance of Me”
When Christ instituted the Lord’s supper, He gave very specific instructions at the end of verse 1 Cor. 11: 24 – “This do in remembrance of me”. He wanted us to observe a memorial of His death, burial & resurrection.
This of course was the theme for this year’s L2L convention.
It is amazing to see all the young men and women from all age groups take the theme and develop speeches on it and also debate the topic.
I like to see how different people – children of God view a specific scripture and understand what it means to them.
When I think of this memorial for our Lord and Savior, I like to go back and read Isaiah 53 which of course is the prophecy of what would happen to Jesus when he gave His life for the sins of all mankind.
