HOW DOES ONE BEGIN TO TELL THE GREATEST STORY KNOWN TO MANKIND?

Providing insight into the story of the birth of Jesus can be done with proper names.

Isaiah … Micah … Zacharias … Elizabeth … Mary … Joseph … Simeon … Anna … Herod … Bethlehem … Egypt.

Re-telling the story of Christ incarnate will surely include a recollection of many simple words.

Virgin … Baby … Manger … Angels … Shepherds … Star … Magi … Gifts … Gold … Frankincense … Myrrh …

Wondered … Troubled … Afraid … Treasured … Glory … Glorifying … Worship & Praise.

Rehearsing the story of the birth of our Lord can also be done with descriptive titles.

The Word … The Child … Son … First-born Son … Son of the Most High … Savior … Jesus … Immanuel …

King of the Jews … Wonderful Counselor … Mighty God … Eternal Father … Prince of Peace … Christ the Lord.

Describing the story of the arrival of God’s only begotten Son will require colorful expressions.

The Word became flesh and dwelt among us … How can this be? …  Nothing will be impossible … Hail, favored one! …

You shall call His name Jesus … The  star went on before them … They rejoiced with exceeding joy … … No room in the inn …

Laid Him in a manger … The glory of the Lord shone around them … Good news of a great joy …  A multitude of heavenly hosts …

The consolation of Israel … The redemption of Jerusalem … The King of the Jews … They fell down and worshiped Him …

We beheld His glory … God With Us … Glory to God in the highest … Peace on earth ... Good will to men.
