THE BIRTH OF JESUS CHRIST ACCORDING TO THE NEW TESTAMENT

“The Word became flesh and lived for a while among us.  We have seen His glory,

the glory of the One and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” / John 1:14

“An angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said,

‘Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.

She will give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins’.” / Matthew 1:21

“While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son.

She wrapped Him in cloths and placed Him a manger, because there was no room in the inn.” / Luke 2:6-7

“And the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which shall be for all the people;
