I for an Eye

I can only imagine being a Disciple walking alongside Jesus, witness miracle after miracle and having Him tell me that I am going to do those things that I bear witness to. (We now know we have these gifts today: Teachers, healers, evangelists, speaking in tongues, interpreters of tongues, shepherding, etc)

There is wisdom in knowledge and knowledge in wisdom.

Matthew 10: 9-20 (Simon, Adnres, James, John – witnessed miracles prior to this)

Now imagine being told you’re going to walk around Warren and you’re to find a worthy person to stay with – taking no money, clothes, or bags to carry things in. Bles the home in which the person lets you in, and shake your shoes clean of dirt and leave the house (or town) if not accepted in.

And when (NOT IF) you are arrested, do not worry about what to say, or how to say it, for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

Even in difficult circumstances, God continually does a work within us to overcome our own perceptions and our “Ifs” of life.

You want to know the beautiful part of all of this? God does not expect perfection.

· Phil. 3: 12-14 Paul about not being perfect

· Prov. 24:16 God lifts us up when we fall – if we fall seven times, He picks us up eight times

What a beautiful testimony to God’s grace in the transformation.

Gal. 2: 20 WE DO NOT NEED TO BE PERFECT/ We are dying to our old ways naturally and obediently.

Jer. 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, “Plans to proper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
